About the Game

Gravity Flipper is a fast-paced puzzle platformer with 100 hand-crafted levels. You control a small character that can instantly flip gravity — falling toward the ceiling instead of the floor. Each level is a gauntlet of walls, floor spikes, ceiling spikes, and moving spike traps that pulse in and out. Your only goal: reach the glowing portal at the end. Every level is a new layout, and difficulty ramps hard — early levels ease you in, but by the back half you'll be flipping gravity constantly to thread through tight corridors at speed.

How to Play

• Move left and right using the Arrow Keys or A / D
• Press Space or tap the screen to flip gravity — your character instantly launches toward the opposite surface
• Reach the glowing portal to clear the level
• Touch a spike (up or down) or a moving trap and you die instantly — but deaths don't lock you out, just keep trying
• Press R to restart the current level at any time
• On mobile: use the ◀ ▶ buttons to move and the ⟳ FLIP button to flip gravity. Swipe up or down to flip, swipe left or right to move

Hazards

• 🔺 Floor Spikes — fixed upward-pointing spikes on platforms and the ground. Land on them and you die
• 🔻 Ceiling Spikes — fixed downward-pointing spikes on the ceiling. Flip into them and you die
• ⚡ Moving Traps — spikes that pulse in and out of walls on a timer. Watch the rhythm before you move
• 🧱 Walls — solid platforms that block your path and force you to plan your flips carefully

Scoring & Stars

Every level awards up to 3 stars based on how fast you clear it:

• ★★★ — Clear in under 10 seconds
• ★★ — Clear in under 20 seconds
• ★ — Clear in under 30 seconds
• No stars — Cleared but took longer than 30 seconds

Stars are your currency — earn them by playing fast and spend them in the Skin Shop.

Level Map

• All 100 levels are accessible from the 🗺 LEVELS button in the top bar
• Levels unlock one at a time as you complete them
• Each level card on the map shows your best star rating
• You can replay any previously cleared level to improve your time and earn more stars

Skin Shop

Spend your earned stars in the ★ SHOP to unlock new looks for your character. There are 17 skins total across two tiers:

Basic Colors (★ 50 each — 11 skins):

• Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Green, Orange, Crimson, Blush, Lime, Ghostly, Gold

Unique Designs (★ 100 each — 6 skins):

• 🌈 Rainbow — Animated cycling rainbow gradient
• 🐯 Stripes — Bold black and gold tiger stripes
• 🔥 Inferno — Burning flame gradient from yellow to deep red
• 🧊 Glacier — Frozen ice gradient with frost lines
• 💡 Neon — Glowing animated neon outline on black
• 🌌 Galaxy — Cosmic nebula with animated drifting stars

Your equipped skin and all progress save automatically to your browser. Scores also sync to the cloud if you are signed in.

Tips

• Don't rush early — learn the spike timing on moving traps before committing to a move
• Flipping gravity is instant but you still fall at full speed — account for momentum before you flip near spikes
• Star ratings are based on total time including deaths — a clean run beats a fast one full of mistakes
• Replay early levels after unlocking more — going back to Level 1 with experience makes 3-starring easy stars
• The NEON and GALAXY skins are worth saving for — they look great and reward skilled players
