About the Game

Grappler Stunts is an endless ragdoll stunt game where you launch your stickman through the air, grapple onto glowing orbs, and pull off tricks mid-swing to earn Skill Points. The world is procedurally generated — orbs get farther apart, higher up, and start disappearing on timers the further you go. Your distance in meters is your score. Your Skill Points are your currency. The further you swing and the wilder your tricks, the more you earn.

How to Play

  • Tap / Click to shoot your grapple rope toward the nearest orb within range (480px)
  • Your stickman will attach and swing — use momentum to arc forward
  • Release (tap/click again) to let go and fly through the air to the next orb
  • Fall below the death line and the run ends
  • Your distance in meters is tracked in real time — beat your personal best to push further
  • The game starts you with a launch velocity so you're already flying on the first frame — attach quickly!

Controls

  • Tap or Click — attach grapple to nearest orb / release rope
  • Left / Right Arrow Keys (or on-screen buttons) — push your body left or right mid-swing to build momentum and steer
  • Up Arrow (or on-screen button) — reel in your rope to shorten it and swing faster
  • Double tap — triggers a trick (see Tricks below)
  • On mobile: on-screen Left, Right, and Up buttons are shown, plus trick buttons for each stunt

Orbs

  • Orbs are the glowing pastel circles you grapple onto — each one is randomly placed as you move forward
  • As your distance increases, gaps between orbs grow wider and their heights become more varied and extreme
  • Timer Orbs — after 600m, some orbs start appearing with a countdown timer. If you don't grapple onto them in time they disappear. The timer gets shorter the further you go — at 600m+ timer orbs can vanish in as little as 1 second

Tricks

Tricks are performed while airborne between orbs. They are added to a pending queue and only cashed in when you successfully land on the next orb — miss and you lose them all.

  • 🔴 Awesome! (Backflip) — 10 SP · A single backflip rotation · 0.55 second animation
  • 🟣 Superb! (Double Flip) — 15 SP · A full double backflip rotation · 0.95 second animation
  • 🔵 Spin! (360 Spin) — 5 SP · A horizontal 360 body spin · 0.5 second animation
  • 🟡 Superman! — 10 SP · A stretched-out superman pose mid-air · 0.6 second animation

Stack multiple tricks in one flight for a combined SP bonus — the total is shown when you land. Tricks only count if you make it to the next orb.

Skill Points (SP) & Shop

Skill Points are earned by landing tricks. Spend them in the Shop to customize your stickman's body:

  • 🆓 Sloppy Body — Default ragdoll chaos (free)
  • 🆓 Skinny Build — Classic thin stickman (free)
  • 🆓 Normal Size — Standard proportions (free)
  • 🆓 Normal Height — Standard length (free)
  • Sturdy Body — 20 SP · Less floppy limbs, more controlled swings
  • Big Size — 30 SP · Chonky stickman with a bigger head
  • Tall — 25 SP · Long legs and longer reach
  • Short — 15 SP · Stubby and compact build
  • Strong Build — 35 SP · Thicker lines, beefy presence

Mix and match body, size, height, and build options to create your own unique stickman style.

Progression & Saving

  • Your best distance (meters) and total Skill Points are saved locally to your browser
  • Sign in with Google to sync your best distance, SP, cosmetics, and settings across devices via the cloud
  • When signed in, local and cloud progress are merged — the higher value always wins
  • A cloud sync indicator in the top bar shows your current sync status

Tips

  • Build momentum before releasing — swinging to the peak of your arc and letting go sends you flying the furthest
  • Use Left/Right to steer your body mid-swing and position yourself for the next orb
  • Reel in with Up to speed up your swing when you need to clear a big gap fast
  • Queue multiple tricks in one flight — a Double Flip + Superman combo nets 25 SP in one go
  • Timer orbs appear more often past 600m — always have your next orb targeted before you release
  • Tricks only count if you land — don't get greedy on impossible gaps
